The main principal, Kevin Peterson, has worked in the bank and credit union industry for over 20 years across all spectrums of the business. He has helped during the startup of a direct bank and even the closure of a bank. In the past 5 years he has focused on helping troubled institutions resolve problems and get on a better path for success. 

The founder, Kevin Peterson, completed his undergraduate degree and MBA at Western Illinois University with high honors, and has also completed the Graduate School of Banking in Madison along with the ABA National and Graduate Commercial Lending Schools and several regulatory compliance schools over his career. He has also served on various non-profile community boards.

We focus on helping resolve regulatory issues to help make the industry stronger as our #1 priority, which includes corporate governance, financial controls/framework and even strategic planning and proper execution. Kevin's goal was to use the knowledge and experience he has gained to help others continually improve. He has experience working with the OCC (and formerly OTS), FDIC, NCUA and FRB, along with several state agencies.

Yes, the most challenging and unique was helping restart a mortgage company that had wound down to near closure, and we were able to recreate the entire corporate governance framework and all main critical functions, along with working through various agencies to begin selling/servicing mortgage loans within a matter of months. Shortly after, converting over a team of several hundred MLO's and then within the first year working on the structural changes and regulatory approvals to make the mortgage company a wholly-owned bank subsidiary.

Also, assisted in the complete wind down of all assets from a bank charter through portfolio sales to other banks and credit unions in conjunction with a separate deposit charter sale.
